Hand crafted and cured in-house, this bacon is Nitrate free and is traditionally known as 'Green Bacon'. We only use organic sea salt, sugars and spices to cure. As it is Nitrate free our bacon has a shorter shelf life and we recommend freezing if not using straight away. While the salt cures and preserves the meat, the shelf life of this product is shorter without the nitrates.
